Almost dry and ready to varnish, couldn’t resist trying it in a frame.

A November rain on a dead potted plant. Exquisite. Prints and textiles on Fine Art America.
I’ve been working on a coupled of very, very large oil paintings over the last several months. While these works have been in process I’ve created a series of abstract paintings in acrylic. The resulting work always lends itself to beautiful prints and textiles.
Originals may be purchased directly or through Vango.
Textiles and prints are available though our “Spills” collection on Fine Art America.
Today I came home and discovered that I a painting I recently uploaded was featured in a collection titled “Spills” on their website. The best news was, my work wasn’t buried among the grouping, it appeared first.
Happy.

Since I returned home from Duluth I’ve spent a considerable amount of time editing the photos I brought back with me. I took pictures of somewhat odd object that I felt drawn to and I’m glad I did. I love them as tonal framed artwork but they also look amazing when converted to fabric on throw pillows. The physical objects are almost indistinguishable among the more pronounced shapes and lines. The very antique settings in the photographs are transformed to images that appear very modern.
They are also stunning framed.

Original Oil Painting is available to purchase through Etsy.
Open edition reprints are available thru Fine Art America.
