I needed artwork for some promotional material for my business. I decided to use one of my paintings which will become branded shipping tape. Can’t wait for it to arrive.

Almost dry and ready to varnish, couldn’t resist trying it in a frame.
I have a box of canvases that are paintings that I started but never finished. Every so often I like to go back to this box and revisit the forgotten “bones” of a previous work to see where a fresh perspective might take it. Here are a couple that I completed this week and uploaded to Fine Art America so they could be converted into textiles or larger, framed reprints.
With the close of 2017, I have to admit that the year for me was a mixed bag. While I could dwell for hours on all that went awry, like my fragrance allergies and my skin cancer diagnosis, I will instead focus on what an amazing year 2017 was for me as an artist!
By the close of 2017 I estimate that I sold over 25 paintings during the year, one of which was sold to a private collector in Australia. My debut in the land down under. We will see what 2018 brings, whatever that is, I’ll just keep swimming.
A November rain on a dead potted plant. Exquisite. Prints and textiles on Fine Art America.
I’ve been working on a coupled of very, very large oil paintings over the last several months. While these works have been in process I’ve created a series of abstract paintings in acrylic. The resulting work always lends itself to beautiful prints and textiles.
Originals may be purchased directly or through Vango.
Textiles and prints are available though our “Spills” collection on Fine Art America.
Today I came home and discovered that I a painting I recently uploaded was featured in a collection titled “Spills” on their website. The best news was, my work wasn’t buried among the grouping, it appeared first.
Happy.
